Mango

A Tribute to our Cherished Pet

Mango Moore was laid to rest surrounded by loved ones on Monday, September 22, 2025. She was found by the SPCA of the Triad, roaming the streets of Greensboro. Within just a few months, fate brought together Mango and the Moore family. She was brought home on October 10, 2017. Mango enjoyed long walks, belly rubs, and toys with squeakers. She was a cuddler, and when she was able, would sneak onto the couch and bed with her mommy. Her favorite forbidden snack was Reece’s peanut butter cups, but she enjoyed just about anything with peanut butter in it. In her youth, she was an escape artist and became known for slipping out of harnesses and collars. Mango hated the rain and baths, as well as getting her nails clipped. She was calm in the storm for many. She will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved her.
Mango is preceded in death by her cousin, Kenai Blatchley.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving mommy and daddy, Paige Moore and Andry Piedra Mora; a brother, Max Piedra; maternal grandfather, Edward Moore Jr; maternal great-grandparents Edward Moore Sr. and Lorraine Moore; as well as many extended aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
There are no services at this time. Donations in Mango’s memory can be made to SPCA of the Triad at 3163 Hines Chapel Rd, Greensboro, NC 27405.
